A superb professionally mounted 8″ x 10″ black and white photograph and VERY RARE AUTHENTIC autographed display of the BRITISH ACTOR probably best known for his pivitol role in the blockbuster “Gone With The Wind”
LESLIE HOWARD
Howard was killed in mysterious circumstances in the second world war. Which has led to many a conspiracy theory springing up. Below is something off the net.
Howard’s Second World War activities included acting and filmmaking. He was active in anti-Nazi propaganda and reputedly involved with British or Allied Intelligence, which may have led to his untimely death in 1943 when his airliner was shot down, sparking modern conspiracy theories regarding his death. (my thanks to wikipedia)
The fine matt black mount, overall size 16″ x 12″, contains a super b/w photograph of the Great Actor in full potrait pose.
At the bottom of the the photograph, in a 4.25″ x 2.5″ aperture, seperately mounted, is an authentic autograph signed by LESLIE with a flourish on a cream coloured autograph page in fountain ink, which has been double matted in a oval to make a really striking display. This is a very sort after autograph and is in good condition for something of this age ( see scan for condition ).. It will make a really good addition to anyones collection and would look great on a wall in any setting.
